Transportation Choices’ annual Tuxes and Trains fundraiser Gala was held in the Sky Church at the MoPop museum, in Seattle in 2022. This event was particularly celebrating advances in extending free local and regional transit to young people. I was invited to mix live visuals during the entire event. I hadn’t performed in the Sky Church for at least a decade, definitely not since The MoPop iteration of the organization and surrounding museum.
I had a handful of transportation clips to play with, though I mostly made those illegible and abstracted. The night featured a live DJ, who can be seen very tiny at the foot of the giant screen. Sky Church is an oddly vertical space and always an interesting gig.
